Forza 4…Infused With Venom

As the quick sketch at Pittsburgh Comicon this past weekend proved, everything seems to be better when it’s infused with venom and Forza 4 is no different. Given, this Venom will not automatically give your car a great black and white livery or give it a 3 foot tongue, but it will aid you with some unrealistic strength and likely distort your face in the process.

The May “Top Gear Car Pack” for Forza 4 has been announced and headlining it is the Hennessey Venom GT, a 1200 horsepower monster that was built for two reasons: to become the fastest car in the world and to answer the question “Why not?”

The full list of cars in this pack is as follows:

  • 2012 Hennessey Venom GT
  • 1977 AMC Pacer X
  • 2011 Ford Transit SuperSportVan
  • 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
  • 1966 Lotus Cortina
  • 1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4
  • 2012 Smart ForTwo
  • 1990 Subaru Legacy RS
  • 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8
  • 1965 Austin-Healey 3000 MkIII

Overall, this pack seems like an answer to that most basic philosophical question because, personally, I don’t see the masses calling out for the Wrangler or Legacy to compete with, well, anything. There are no off road tracks and demolition derbies are at player’s discretion so I don’t see the puzzle that these pieces quite fit in. However, I’m sure that the Venom GT will pull this one through to be a quite sought after pack.

Interestingly enough, this pack will answer the question of “Will players always buy the pack for more bang for the buck or will they buy a single car when the rest are questionable?”
