Resurgence Pack DLC
Yesterday, Bioware released the Resurgence Pack DLC for Mass Effect 3.
After trial-and-error, I was able to download the pack for the Xbox 360. (It took a while for it to get working–it turns out that I didn’t finish my download. User error!) I ended up playing it for a few hours last night.
The new maps are gorgeous. And by gorgeous, I mean the scenery is beautiful. Both maps, Firebase Condor and Firebase Hydra, have a lot of open space compared to previous maps.
I haven’t unlocked any of the new characters–I’m hoping to get the Krogan vanguard. However, I did unlock the striker assault rifle, which seems to be a bit more powerful than what my little Asari adept is used to.
Overall, the Resurgence Pack is a nice freebie. I love it, but maybe I’m a bit biased.
Happy birthday, Commander Shepard!
Today (April 11) is Commander Shepard’s birthday. Shepard’s birthday is the same day that Apollo 13 was launched (April 11, 1970). For those that were curious, Shepard’s birth year is listed as 2154.
I saw this awesome bit on Twitter earlier (Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale are the voice actors for male and female Commander Shepard.)
