There are over 200 video game concepts that are currently up looking for funding on Kickstarter, it’s my duty to make sure you guys know the great concepts that are still in need of your help. A lot of indy games came through the fire and smoke that is Kickstarter (as it features some of the most interesting gameplay and graphics, better than some other video games with a big budget).
Some of these games need your help to get past the fog and clutter above the Minecrafty mods and very poor looking or overused video game concepts.
One of those games is from Game Over Studios and stars Ashly Burch (most of you know her as Tiny Tina from Borderlands, Cassie Cage from Mortal Kombat X, and her own very interesting YouTube channel Hey Ash, Watcha Playin’?). Burch plays the main character called Isra. Another one is from The Last Airbender, Dante Basco, playing the voice of Isra’s robot buddy XJ.
The gameplay, from the trailer, makes it feel like a Mirror’s Edge parkour game (as it is in the style of a first-person parkour game) with the journey and graphics you get while playing a game like Journey.
Failsafe, at the posting of this article, is $60k away from its’ goal and, unlike my attempt to get Night Trap another try, this game needs our help in the next 18 days.
This day started off like any other N7 (November 7th) day. Woke up and, well, checked my Twitter for the latest news and information on one of my favorite game series in years. They did not fail to deliver the goods.
Here’s the teaser trailers to Mass Effect: Andromeda.
This gave me literal chills. The hype that I have for Fallout 4 is now surpassed by the hype that I feel for Mass Effect Andromeda. Also…LET THE SPECULATION BEGIN, BOYS AND GIRLS! For those that don’t know (AND I DON’T KNOW WHY YOU WOULDN’T KNOW THIS) that’s FemShep “passing the torch” and signing off. Honestly, this does nothing but prove my point that somewhere in that dangum universe/galaxy you will meet some of the crew of the Normandy, if not Shepard.
“Holiday 2016″ can’t come soon enough for this one.
Last night (or early in the morning, in Japan), Nintendo announced their take on mobile games.
They announced their partnership with DeNA earlier this year to help develop their mobile games and help maintain Nintendo’s mobile integrity when they get into this year and next year’s releases.
To start, Nintendo announced their first game: Is it Mario? No. Zelda? No. Metroid? Smash? Mario Kart? Tingle? Doki Doki Panic? Still interested?
Nintendo announced “Miitomo”, a social experience that even when you’re offline, your Mii character can walk around and communicate with other people and share information with others. It looks like it’s a new FREE version of Tomodachi Life is coming to Android and iPhone. Which is pretty cool, I wanted to play Tomodachi Life to see what all the hubbub was about and I might have my chance. Might.
However, the one that gets me (and puts up a major red flag) is that Miitomo allows for your Mii to communicate with others while you’re offline, which is weird. Are there going to be questions you have to answer before you can play? Is Nintendo in your mind?
So many questions need to be answered before they release this game. Are you going to get it? What other mobile games would you like to see? Leave it in the comments below.
