More Assassins Creeds Goodies!

Directors Cut of the Original Assassins Creed opening Cinematics.

Altair is a bad ass.

AND I <3 Ubisoft. Here is parts one and two of a 4 part epsode of a mini series entitled Inside Assassins Creed 3!

and Episode 2:

Well Hot damn….. I cannot wait.

More Assassins Creed 3 stuffs!

As October gets closer and closer more and more things from AC3 are being released to get the gamers blood pumping and primed for the release of the next epic adventure of the series.

Here is the full on Naval Combat trailer for the games release and a quick look at the extras available for pre-ordering at Gamestop.

And the awesome team from IGN was at Gamerscon and got us another look at the PSP version of the game. A Faithful Acolyte.

Even though it passes up Chachi Appreciation Day, I want it to be October already. I really need to play this game. What are your thoughts? Does the naval warfare make you more or less excited for it? Let us know in the comments below!

Assassins Creed 3 request granted!

One of the biggest issues people have been having with all of the released Assassins Creed 3 media is that Conner seems to only be killing Red Coats. Never ever revolutionaries. Which to me is just a weird complaint considering that in the other games there was a clear cut enemy. In this one we know it takes place during the war however with the ultimate goal being the same you would have to realize that there are enemies every where. However! Ubisoft gave us what we wanted. Here is a screen shot of Conner coming down on a couple Revolutionaries getting ready to end them.

Also, Conner takes to the water? Thats what this screenshot shows. Which proves to me one thing…. Ubisoft realizes that they have to change it up or end up with yet another game that is pretty much the same. AC3 is giving Ubisoft an awesome way to extend the franchise but its not without the dangers of the game being the same as the others. Heres hoping they are successful! I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. I don’t usually feel it nessecary to run out on release night/day to get a game, but i’ll be getting this one.

No Assassin’s Creed 3 Demo

In case you haven’t seen it yet, there will not be a demo available prior to the release of Assassin’s Creed 3. Ubisoft Annecy multiplayer game director Damien Kieken said the following regarding the demo:

“To be honest, it’s something we want to do every year because we get community feedback that helps us tune the game. It is also a good reward for the community that has followed us from the beginning. But doing a beta takes a lot of time, we’d need to polish a version, submit it to the platform holders and support it when it’s out. And all the time put into the beta doesn’t go into the final game. Because we wanted to push so many things into the game, we took the hard decision to favor the final game content instead of doing a beta and we believe it will be favorable in the end.”

While it’s understandable that Ubisoft wants to put it’s full resources into Assassin’s Creed 3, it is also a bold move considering the amount of new features in Assassin’s Creed 3. Between the new physics engine, new combat moves, and seasons, there are many opportunities for bugs to show themselves in a demo. These new features should also receive some initial feedback from fans since they are the first of their kind.

Ubisoft does have the resources to do their own extensive in-house testing but sometimes you do need to branch out. Hopefully the lack of a demo doesn’t have a negative effect on the final product.

So you want to learn More about Conner?

In the slight case that you live under a rock or are on this page by accident, Conner is the next character that the Assassins Creed series will follow as a part of Desmond’s action packed bloodline.

The Assassins Creed series continues this October with Assassins Creed 3 and it will be during the Revolutionary War. However, like Assassin’s Creed and Assassin’s Creed II, not much is currently known about dear Conner, but you will be able to change that. There are two ways actually: you can play the game and spend that time learning about our new deadly friend or you can pick up a book and read more in depth.

Just like the other games in the series, author Olver Bowden is writing a book to accompany it. The book is slated for a later release than the game (Dec 4th.) and will provide a deeper look at the live of Conner. Olver has done books for every game in the series so why should this one be any different.

So with all of that said, look it up, it’s in a book. No, really read a book. It’s not going to hurt you, unless  you happen to drop it on your face while laying down reading it, which is completely your own fault and not the book’s. Most of the books are available over on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_9?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=assassins+creed&sprefix=Assassins%2Cstripbooks%2C147  and I’m sure you can find them at a book store near you.

Assassin’s Creed 3 Boston Gameplay Trailer

A new trailer has been released for Assassin’s Creed 3 that shows the city side of gameplay and explains some of the abilities players will be able to yield against the red coats. Until now, we have only seen the forest gameplay so this new trailer is a welcome change since it demonstrates how Connor will navigate the cities of Boston and New York.

Some notable points in this trailer are the ability to run through a building to help elude pursuers, being able to grab a musket on the run, and an expanded look on Connor’s dual-wielding fighting style. The new uses of the brotherhood can also be pretty interesting depending on what Ubisoft does with it. Having the ability to call both offensive and defensive assists will greatly change the dynamic of the game.

Assassins Creed Movie gets rolling

Well, That ball got rolling rather quickly.

Ubisoft Motion Pictures is alive and kicking it now. Teaming up with DMC Film, The production company that is owned by Michael Fassbender. Oh, yeah. It will also star Michael Fassbender. So there’s that.

There are no real other details about it at this time. Imdb has nothing but a release date of 2014. The only plot details for the film that have been released will blow your mind though…

*note: that image is from the short film set of Assassins Creed Lineage. Not the full length feature film*

“plot revolves around a man who learns his ancestors were trained assassins after he is kidnapped by a secret org with ties to the Knights Templar, and sent back in time to retrieve historical artifacts,”

I KNOW RIGHT!?!?!?! Oh, wait, that’s the plot of all of the game…. dammit.
