This month’s Loot Crate happened to arrive while Sorg was away on his Gathering of the Juggalos vacation. Instead of letting the crate sit idly by awaiting his return, Wife of the Show picked up her iPhone and did her own reveal video.
Despite being up to two years away, the rumors on the next Arkham Batman game are flying already!
Paul Dini writer of the stories for both Asylum and City as well as awesome storylines for tv and film may not be back. He stated recently on twitter that he was unaware of the third game being made and that Arkham City was his last game in the series.
Dini later stated the following: “The last talk I had with Warner Interactive about future games was while I was doing promotion for Arkham City last September. Naturally as there was such a rush of interest about Arkham City, everyone was asking me about a third game, and frankly, I had been wondering about that myself. When I asked about the possibility of working on a third game I was told that as Rocksteady had just finished wrapping the second one, it would be a while before everyone was ready to sit down and discuss future plans. That said, it was intimated that for future games, Warner and Rocksteady might not be looking as much to freelance writers, the message being, that if I had something else interesting coming my way, I might want to take it.”
So he did. Also stating that now he is unavailable until at least 2013 but there is no hard feelings about the separation and he would work with them again if it came up.
What this means for the future if there is one for this Batman is yet to be seen. I hope it continues because it is 1 hell of a series and I am entertained at all parts. What are your thoughts? Think they can continue it with someone else or are they just going to screw it up? Let us know in the comments below.

The reason that Video Games get a bad rep is because parents in high places see commercials like this and assume that gamers of all ages are itching to run out and emulate the things they see in all video games.
In fact, here is a list of things these kids could be doing instead of playing video games:
1. Drugs. Although in all honesty they could be doing both but most likely are not. If a gamer is spending their own money on video games then the chances that they are also spending money on drugs is low. They are spending money on video games which they pay taxes on and generate income for employees and companies selling the games.
2. Having unprotected sex. If a teen is not playing video games then the chances that they are out engaging in activities of the sexual nature increase. Which in turn, increases the rate of pregnancy in teens and the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases. Therefore increasing the rate of high school dropouts, abortions, and the unemployment rate.
3. Causing trouble at school/work/life. Whether these parents/people in high places realize it or not, video games provide a healthy outlet for people that would otherwise have none. Instead of video games they could be causing trouble in school or elsewhere, possibly resulting to violence. Video games of all nature provide an outlet for stress, reducing the chances of an individual having a breakdown with potentially violent outcomes.
Despite the above reasons and more, there are still people like Jack Thompson(who was disbarred for making defamatory, false statements and attempted to humiliate, embarrass, harass or intimidate them) Joe Baca(used campaign funds to pay his daughter $27,000 and fund his sons campaigns.), Senator Hillary Clinton (Whitewater, Filegate, Travelgate, Husband sex scandal) out against video games and the sales of video games. It would appear as if their backgrounds are not exactly clean.
And yet, every time a shooting or killing spree happens, the first thing these people turn to are video games as demonstrated by the Columbine shooting or the more recent Aurora shooting. Criminal Profiler Pat Brown made a statement regarding the recent theater shooting that the killer played video games to prepare himself for the killing. Watch this clip.
So that’s 3 counts of using video games to prepare statements versus 1 count of video games didn’t cause this. Fair enough; she tried to take back her statement. However, what people walked away with from that segment is that video games caused this. The attention span of the normal American would not pull anything else from that.
Here are some facts about Pat Brown: She received a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice in 2007. 5 years ago. Five. She has never profiled a single case yet wrote a book on it. Every time she profiles a “criminal,” no one listens.
Why does it seem that every person against video games or that associates video games to horrible crimes seem to be using them to cover up their own horrible pasts or shortcomings?
You know what this says to me? This says that video games are harmless. They are nothing but a positive outlet for those who are interested in them. However, that is just one man’s opinions. Albeit, there are many out there that agree with me but the number of those that disagree are growing and the battle over video games is getting heavier.

Batman’s next adventure in video gaming will be set in the silver age. According to a report by Variety Rocksteady will set the next Batman Game in The Silver Age and tell of the first time the Dark Knight battled the joker. It’s not known yet if both Kevin Conroy or Mark Hamill will reprise their roles of the iconic characters.

This game will also get players familiar to The Justice League as DC has been pushing the super powered group due to the focus on the upcoming movie in 2015 in order to challenge Marvel’s Avengers. The Group back in the Silver Age consisted of heroes such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aqua Man, Martian Man Hunter, Green Lantern, and The Flash. Will we see other villians, Robin, Batgirl, Alfred? Only time will tell, but I trust Rocksteady and can’t wait to play the game. There is not much more that we know about this game but I’m sure details will come as soon as we get them.
There isn’t many details announced about the mobile Batman game, but looks to stay true to the franchise thus far in the trailer. Nice dark, violent game. Take a look!
So far all there is for the game is a release date and look at that, it’s coming out with the movie! July 20th. More details as they develop. However, here is my question. Games that are released to go with a movie are typically bad games. Short, not that entertaining and predictable espescially at a console price point.
Now that this is being released for the mobile devices and is probably going to be around 10 dollars to download does that make it different? Do you think that itll make the game easier to swallow if it does in fact bite? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
